Happy Birthday to my Awesome Sweet Dad!!!

Happy Birthday, to the most wonderful Dad I could ever ask for! I can’t believe how blessed I am to have you in my life. So much of my happiness and success in life I can attribute to you. Thank you for always, always loving me and making me feel like one in a million. If I had to pick the most unselfish man in the world, I’d pick you in a heartbeat.

You are the hardest worker I have ever met in my life. You are the most considerate, kindest, loving Person and the list could go on for days. I don’t know a soul that doesn’t just love you Dad. Sometimes when that’s all you’ve ever known it can be easy to let it slip your mind how truly blessed we are. I am so SO thankful that I get to call you my Dad.

You have absolutely no idea how much I appreciate the life lessons you taught  us, The importance of supporting a Family, Importance of loving and obeying your  Parents no matter what ,Importance of Respecting your Elders,Importance of loving  your Siblings and being there for them always, Importance of loving your  children unconditionally and equally, Importance of family time spent together ,Importance of helping  friends in any situation…..and the list could go on. You also have no idea how grateful I’m to have a father like you and my feeling of Love  for you is practically immeasurable.

They say that a lady will always marry a man like her father. I honestly and wholeheartedly am so thankful that I am found my soul mate exactly like you , who gets what a father and husband truly should be.

This is a small poem dedicated to you, Dad..It reminds me of you 🙂

Life Lessons

You may have thought I didn’t see,
Or that I hadn’t heard,
Life lessons that you taught to me,
But I got every word.

Perhaps you thought I missed it all,
And that we’d grow apart,
But Dad, I picked up everything,
It’s written on my heart.

Without you, Dad, I wouldn’t be
The person I am today;
You built a strong foundation
No one can take away.

I’ve grown up with your values,
And I’m very glad I did;
So here’s to you, dear father,
From your forever grateful kid.

Dearest Mummy and Papa,

Happy 35th Wedding Anniversary!

I love you both and I love who you are together.

I owe a lot to the pure love and commitment that you have worked so hard to show each other throughout your marriage. You both have sacrificed so many other pursuits in your commitment to each other and to family, and I am so grateful. Thank you for dedicating your time, your home, and your hearts to one another and for all the ways that marital bond blessed me and my brothers as children.

Thank you Papa, for the thoughtful gifts you gave us, the importance you placed on time spent with each other and teaching us the importance of Family. You showed us what it means to be together and cherish each other. You are the best!!! The Best Son, Best Husband, Best Father, Best Brother and The Best Grandfather!

Thank you Mom for making our house a home, teaching your children with such dedication and persistence the value of  being a good-hearted person, Helping others who are in need..  . …. You showed us the value of GIVING and what it means to serve each other.

Thank you Mom for teaching us to listen to our father and obey him and reminding us what a wise and cool dad he really is by speaking fondly of him. You showed us what it means to Respect.

Thank you both for all your efforts to raise us, protect us, Love us, fill our home with the spirit, and shape us into kind, thoughtful individuals. For every family home evening, for every family day out, for our Sunday brunches , for our family gatherings, for our vacations and road trips, for every holiday and workday, Thank you for showing us what teamwork and Family mean.

Thank you for showing me what a happy marriage was so I could recognize and aim for it myself. Thank you for your example. Thank you for putting in the work and unselfishness that marriage takes.

I can’t help but imagine what life might be like 25 years from now. No one can know for certain but one thing I wish for is a family like the one that my Mom and Dad created. A family where you support each other no matter what, A family where you are there to celebrate in life’s most important events, A family that is ridiculously good-looking and sarcastic and a home that is always welcoming filled with people who you might not like all the time, but that you love always. A family that knows that we might not have it all together, but together we have it all!!

Mummy and Papa, Thank you, thank you for building a home and a family that makes it so fun to get together and so hard to say goodbye to. Thank you for raising me to be the woman I am; strong, faithful and determined. Thank you for supporting me in everything and anything i do.. You two are the best support system I could ever imagine.

Love you to the moon and back forever ♥♥♥

Happy 50th Birthday…….Mom!!!!!

My MumJuly 6th is a very important day in my world. It is the day my mom was born. I’ve tried to put it into words on my blog , how amazing my mom is, but nothing I could ever write could do this woman justice. She is the most beautiful woman I know, both inside and out, and she puts our family first before everything else. The love she has for my brothers and I is one of the best things in our lives. Every major milestone moment I’ve had, my mom has been right there and I am so thankful for that. So this blog is for her!

Dear Mom,
Unconditional and absolute love is the greatest gift a parent can give to their child and you have given yours to me in abundance! You have been the purest example of God’s unconditional love for me and it has been this love and devotion that gives me courage to fight through anything .

I really don’t know how I can ever tell you in words just how much I love you and appreciate everything that you have done and continue to do for me, every day. But, today, on your special day, I just wanted to say thank you…

Thank you for Everything.

Thank you, for all the small things and the big things

Thank you, for teaching me the value of living and of being happy no matter what our status in life is!
Thank you, for giving me everything without my asking. You always know what I need.

Thank you, for everything you have done for me, for everything you have said, and for all of the times you said nothing and just listened to me.

Thank you mom , for being so smart, so beautiful and so wise . It’s nice to know that I have the potential somewhere in my genetics to possibly one day be as special as you.

You are the most beautiful , Loving , Amazing , Caring ,Strongest person.I hope that one day in the future I can be half the woman you are.

It is rightly said “God could not be everywhere, and therefore he made mothers. “”
Talking to you every day is the only Prayer I need in my life.

All that I am or ever hope to be, I owe to you, Mom.
Keep Smiling ….Always 🙂

Love you very much,
Happy Birthday!!!!!

.Luv U Mom

Today I turn 32.

I’m 32

 I’m Thirty-two

 I’m 384 months

 I’m 22 + 10 years

Okay…that last one sounds the best, so we’ll go with that.

I am 32 years old today and although I don’t like the sound of that number, At least I am glad I don’t look like that number either 😉 and today,  I am the happiest I have ever been in my entire life and THAT is something to celebrate

I am a woman blessed beyond belief.

At 32, I still have both my parents here on this earth. They are there for me EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Whatever I need, Whenever I need….I only have to call them. I try so hard not to take this for granted because it truly is a gift to have them in my life. They are the GREATEST parents in the world.

I still have both my in-laws here on this earth. Marrying into a family that you genuinely love with all of your heart is a gift. A rare gift, it seems, and I am grateful for the unconditional love and support I receive from them in return.

I have a wonderful marriage. A marriage that we both work hard for. Although I spend many days relentlessly nagging him for spending more time with me or our family……Tarun is an amazing husband who has given me everything I have ever wanted. 10 years of being together…and I still haven’t heard a single “NO” from him for anything.   And even though he can’t always understand my love of Reading Books or my inability to get organized…he accepts me for who I am.  And for that, I am very lucky :). And I can definitely say My Husband is my Soulmate. I love him very much.

I have two healthy, beautiful children that call me Mommy. Krishiv and Shivansh are the two BEST gifts I have ever been given. They are the loves of my life and I would not be complete without them. They have changed me in so many wonderful ways and all I pray is that the two of them are as happy and blessed as I am when they are my age.

I have 2 awesome brothers who married two awesome women. My brothers are my two support pillars…..and although we don’t talk or meet as much as we would like… I know they will always be there for me.

I have 2 Beautiful Sister-in-laws, whom I love and adore. Payal and Kamiya are the sisters I never had while growing up. I am lucky to have them both.

I have two beautiful nieces and a darling nephew that bring me so much joy. Being an Aunt to Ishica, Aryaveer and Ziana  is as special to me as being a Mommy.

I have a big family of  uncles, aunts and my lovely cousins, with whom I share the most memorable moments of my childhood. And above all, a Grandfather , whom we all love, respect and adore.

I have my 2 best friends that are true and genuine. My BFF. Friends who care about me as much as I care about them.

I live in my dream home. It’s warm, it’s cozy and it’s perfect for our family.

I have the perfect career. I work hard to help my better half in his business and I also get to be a stay-at-home-mommy.

I am the healthiest I have ever been. Not the skinniest or the fittest…but the healthiest.

At 32, I am living the life I’ve always dreamed of. A life that can change in an instant.. We never know how many birthdays we have…or how many birthdays the people we love have. So we have to try, EVERY DAY, to count our blessings. Live in the moment. Be thankful. Be grateful. Laugh. Have fun. Forget the hard days. Remember the good days. Take LOTS of pictures. And love. Love every day like it’s your last .:-)

Feeling Blessed,

011
